About the Artist

Gallery J9 features the work of Minnesota artist Janine Aykens, whose contemporary minimalist and abstract works focus on relationships and balance.  A variety of media are used in several disciplines, including painting, drawing, and printmaking, often combined digitally to create a twist on the original composition.

Janine holds a BFA degree from Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
